Design your Movement practice to support your lifestyle - Don't Get Hurt doing the things you NEED to do!

Movement Integration

  • In the strength and Conditioning world we design programs to prepare athletes to perform, and prevent them from being injured performing so they can practice as much as possible. That is where my career began, but over the years one sees the gap that exists between athletic performance and regular life. I apply the same philosophies that apply to athletic performance to my clients.

  • The Goal of the programs I create for clients include learning, integrating, and progressing movement patterns that "compliment" your daily activities. This can mean many different things depending on your goals, experience, and life situation. Ultimately it is the wear and tear of our compensatory movement tendencies that degrade our ability to do what we enjoy over time. Whether You're an athlete looking to maximize your performance, or just looking to stay fit and healthy the value of optimizing your training patterns and intensities have everlasting effects.

In my youth I was a highly competitive swimmer, so I understand what it takes to train for high level competition first hand. I also understand the post career adjustments to make training enjoyable and productive! Nowadays when I'm not training or coaching I enjoy participating in a variety of movement and sport but mainly push my physical limits rock climbing.

I wish the story ended there. Recently however I was pushing my limits on the rocks. I was doing a method reffered to as Traditional climbing. A rather intense way of protecting yourself that is not the safest. After ascending about 75 feet above my last protective piece, I had an equipment failure. The rope I was attached to wrapped around my leg and flipped me upside down. After two of my traditionally placed pieces failed and disconnected from the rock, I fell about 50 feet below my anchor point. was swung into the rock at the bottom when my gear caught me. One Cerebral Hematoma on top of minor injuries I am back in business. Truly, after experiencing it first hand, disasters like these help me understand the challenges of every level of athlete.

Your Journey starts now.
